Every year Fleetwood Project brings one original play to the stage written by a LOCAL playwright. This season we bring to you, The Big White Lie, written by Ryan and Maggie Inlow. The Big White Lie is the story of a family gathering for the funeral of their beloved patriarch they call Pop Pop. As his wife Frannie, their adult kids James and Emily, and the grandkids share happy memories, a mysterious woman arrives and a family secret is revealed. It turns out Pop Pop and Frannie have been telling a lie for years. After the funeral raises even more questions, and chaos rises, Frannie finally confesses the truth and everyone is left to deal with the fallout. It's a fast-paced comedy that reminds everyone what being a family really means.
