The Artist Mentorship Series: The Ethics of Art Making
The Artist Mentorship Series is a monthly workshop designed for emerging and mid-career artists in Mansfield and the greater DFW area who want to move from “making art” to “building a sustainable art practice.”
This month, we will be diving deep into the importance of Ethics in the art world, covering topics such as: Copyright basics, Fair use & reference photos, AI and originality, and Cultural appropriation vs appreciation among other topics!
Essentially, artists will leave the workshop confident that the art they are producing does not infringe on other people's rights.
Participants will partake in a small art activity to reflect on the work we do in this workshop.
All materials will be provided.
