The Art of Becoming: A Mother–Daughter Empowerment Retreat
“The transition from high school into adulthood is a powerful moment of transition."
The Art of Becoming is a day-long empowerment retreat for late high-school-age young women and their mothers (or trusted adult caregivers). Through creative expression, guided reflection, and practical skill-building, participants will explore self-esteem, self-safety, emotional wellness, and healthy boundaries in a supportive and welcoming space.
Led by a curated team of professionals—including an art therapist, physical health, safety, and empowerment facilitators—this retreat blends meaningful conversation with hands-on experiences. No art experience is needed. Art-making is used as a tool for reflection, confidence, and self-trust.
Participants will:
Strengthen confidence and self-esteem.
Learn practical self-safety and boundary-setting tools.
Explore emotional wellness skills for life transitions.
Connect through shared and individual experiences.
Create original artwork to take home.
This full-day retreat (9:30 AM–4:30 PM) is designed to feel spacious, engaging, and emotionally safe—allowing time to reflect, create, and grow together.
"This is not about fixing. It’s about becoming—together.”
-If the family needs to add an additional child, the a la carte child will be an additional $75 fee.
