Monthly Handbuilding Ceramics Workshop - Creepy Doll Centerpieces
Step into the strange and whimsical side of clay this September as we create a delightfully eerie Creepy Doll Centerpiece. In this three-hour handbuilding workshop, you’ll learn foundational sculptural techniques to construct and personalize your own expressive doll figure — haunting, humorous, nostalgic, or beautifully bizarre.
We’ll explore texture, proportion, and character development while working with slab and sculptural forms. Whether your piece leans gothic, vintage carnival, fractured fairytale, or subtly unsettling, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind centerpiece perfect for fall décor or year-round conversation.
As always, the process invites reflection. What parts of ourselves feel hidden, stitched together, exaggerated, or misunderstood? Clay gives us a playful way to explore shadow and story through form.
