Art Therapy Workshops with Heidi Tournoux Studios
A mandala, or circle as it is translated from Sanskrit, is one of the oldest symbols found in many cultures around the world. This workshop will walk participants through both the history of the mandala throughout the world, but will teach the practice of drawing mandalas as a meditation. Participants will also create a group mandala, and will have the opportunity to discuss the impact that group work has on our connection to others. Our workshop host, Heidi Tournoux-Hanshaw is a board certified, registered art therapist, and a licensed professional counselor supervisor, and this workshop qualifies for 3 Texas LPC CEs, though everyone is welcome to participate, even non-CE seeking participants.
