Hadestown is a folk-inspired stage musical that retells the Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. It follows Orpheus’s journey to the underworld to rescue Eurydice, exploring themes of love, hope, sacrifice, and the power of storytelling.
