Youth Education Success(YES! Summit)
The 2023 YES! Summit will be held in person on October 7,2023, for students in grades 6-12. The YES! Summit will provide students with an opportunity to network with their peers and attend a variety of workshops on leadership and self-sufficiency for academic and personal success. Potential student workshop topics for the YES! Summit include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) awareness and education, college preparation, and self-development. This year’s YES! Summit will also feature a College Fair, where students will be able to meet with representatives from various colleges and universities. High school seniors will have an opportunity to apply for scholarships offered by the Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education.
Parents will be able to register for the YES! Summit, and attend valuable workshops with topics addressing financial literacy, mental health strategies, and more.
Attendees can attend this complimentary event and enter exciting giveaways. The goal of the YES! Summit is for the Arlington and surrounding communities’ youth to be inspired and imagine the possibilities. Light breakfast and lunch will be served.
