John Terry is a native of Waco, Texas, and has been writing songs for more than 40 years.  He has been a member of the Fort Worth Songwriters’ Association since 1997 and served on the Board of Directors from 2001 through 2011.  In 2012, he was named Nashville Songwriters Association International, Regional Coordinator for the Fort Worth Area.  John has over 100 songs to his credit and recently had his first commercial cut, with “God’s Been Laughin’ at Me”, co-written with Bobby Terry and recorded by Houston artist Max Flinn, which reached #74 on the Texas Regional Radio Report.

Matt and Connie Meek hail from northwest Missouri and have been performing and songwriting for over 20 years. Before they married, Matt honed his skills traveling with the band, Cheap Guitars, while Connie developed her skills singing in church, show choirs, country oprys and in Branson, Missouri.  They met while performing in the Pony Express Opry in St. Joseph, Mo. They were married in 2000 and have two children.  In 2009, they became the Worship Co-Directors for Community Covenant Church in Kearney, MO.  In 2018, Matt’s work moved them to Texas and they enjoy exploring the music culture in the DFW area.

Jayson Maxwell has been playing guitar for a long time and working to improve his songwriting over the years. He is proud of everything has have written and knows any art in the eyes or ears of the recipient can be interpreted differently and he welcomes that. Jayson loves to play live at open mics, showcases, and gigs where original music is appreciated and applauded. His style is more Americana with a mix of the influences over the years that shaped his words and music. Jayson has always believed in the quote: “The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away.” With that he hopes to spread that gift and that the audiences will enjoy.
